As with any software products, there will be ongoing costs for Datasmith to implement new features in the future as well as provide bug fixes, patches, services packs etc. Furthermore, time and effort will be required by Datasmith to handle support queries from customers that may come up throughout the life time of the product. In order for a customer such as Pep to receive ongoing support on the Pigeon Voice middleware product as well as product upgrades, bug fixes, patches and new features, an SSP (Software Support Plan) will be provided by Datasmith, in either 1 or 3 year options.
- Included in the SSP:
- Remote Technical Support: telephonic or email support for assistance with any technical issues, questions etc. regarding Pigeon Voice.
- Software Updates any product updates made by Datasmith will be shared with the customer free of charge.
- Bug Fixes: any software bugs we may discover and resolve from any of our customers will be shared with all other customers that have purchased an SSP.
- Not included in the SSP:
- On-site support and training is not included in this SSP.
- Software development services to develop or maintain custom Pigeon Voice agents (plugins).
- Technical support on any custom Pigeon agents.
- Technical support on any Vocollect hardware or other 3rd party hardware.
- Technical support on any Vocollect software e.g. Voice Console, Catalyst etc.
