Due to most customers not providing an internet connection from the voice server, we provide an offline file based licensing.
- Licensing:
- Server/Site License: locked per server or per site:
- CAL (Client Access License): a certain number of devices can connect.
- Demo License available.
- License Acquisition:
- License is created when first starting the Pigeon Voice Server on the customer's machine. The **BinaryLock.lic ** license file will be found in the Pigeon Voice Server's executable folder. If the default installation directory was selected during the installation it will be found in:
- C:\Program Files (x86)\Datasmith\Pigeon Voice Server\BinaryLock.lic
- Copy the BinaryLock.lic license file send it to Datasmith. Contact Datasmith.
- Datasmith patches the license with:
- Customer name
- CAL Count
- Expiration Date (if any)
- License Key
- Once receiving the patched license, overwrite old license in the Pigeon Voice Server's executable directory:
- C:\Program Files (x86)\Datasmith\Pigeon Voice Server\BinaryLock.lic
- License is created when first starting the Pigeon Voice Server on the customer's machine. The **BinaryLock.lic ** license file will be found in the Pigeon Voice Server's executable folder. If the default installation directory was selected during the installation it will be found in:
- Restart the Pigeon Voice Server in Console mode to see if the license has been applied successfully. Alternatively, run the Pigeon Voice Server as a Windows Service and view the Windows Event Log to see if the license was applied successfully.
