  • Settings File Path: field allows you to open a different copy of a file, or point the Pigeon Voice Manager to the correct file path of the PigeonVoiceServerSettings.xml.
  • Search: field allows you to search through all the settings for the server or through the settings of a selected component.
  • Component Settings: the settings for the server are grouped per component on the "Components" tree view on the left hand side. Clicking on a component will list only the settings for that component.
  • Log: button opens the Log Viewer window allowing you to enter a date range and then clicking "Search" which will display all the log entries i.e. server activity, device requests, server responses etc.

Updating a Setting: As an example, the first settings that will need to be configured will be the Database Connection String. Click the Database component and click the Database Connection String in the settings grid. To edit/update a setting, click the pencil icon, which will open the Update Setting dialog. Modify the connection string to point it to the Pigeon Voice database on SQL Server.
