The shield crash of 56

During the final run for the video the shield started giving an error shown below. After contacting the developers, Openelectronics. The error was found to be something wrong with the shield library and the version error and how it interfaced with the new arduino IDE 1.6.8. After a few hours they released a hot fix for the problem however that did not solve the issue on my end.

The shield itself is very temperamental and from some quick googling I found that the error can sometimes come about from simply the arduino pins not plugged properly. However after trying multiple arduino's the error was still there.

There was a brief moment when the error was gone and all was well with the world but soon after shooting a couple more minutes of video the error came about again. Unfortunately I am still unsure why it is happening.

I have narrowed it down to a problem to the shield itself.
