Elm will always offer one fire-type starter, one water-type starter, and one grass-type starter. The starters he offers are randomly selected from the options below.

Getting the Starter You Want

A starter isn't assigned to a Poké Ball in Elm's lab until the first time the player interacts with it. To re-roll your starter options, simply save before interacting with any of the Poké Balls and reload until you see a Pokémon you like.
