This procedure covers the action to ingest inputs in BOA through HMI.

Pre-conditions

1. An available BOA environment is ready to use.

Procedure

1. Access to the BOA environment.
2. If containers are not running, start containers (as root):

Note: the names of the containers may differ between environments (check with docker container list).

docker start boa_app_dev boa_database_dev

1. If a clean environment is needed, i.e. no unexpected conflicts with data already available in the BOA environment, reset BOA DDBB by following the next procedure:

   Reset BOA DDBB

2. Access to the "Manual ingestion" page in the HMI: https://localhost:80/ingestion_control/manual-ingestion

3. Click on "Browse files" and select the files to be uploaded

4. If files listed in the showed table are all the ones to be uploaded, click on "Trigger ingestion", otherwise repeat step 5

5. If orchestrator is not active, the HMI will ask for its activation, click on OK

6. Once the orchestrator is active, the HMI will ask for confirmation on the upload of the files, click on OK

7. The HMI will automatically re-direct to the ingestion control view to monitor the status of the ingestions: https://localhost:80/ingestion_control/ingestion_control
