iTC Meeting Minutes 2024 12 05 - DSC-iTC/cPP GitHub Wiki
Call started at 12:03pm EST
The call started with a quick status update after the ICCC. There is nothing to report, but the documents have been sent out for review after publication.
Brian then discussed changing the meeting frequency. It was agreed that for the time being it would stay biweekly, but that this may change to every 4 weeks later depending on how things progress. Brian emphasized that he did not want to stop calls altogether as having regular calls was the main way to keep at least a core group working on the cPP.
The discussion then turned to the possible paths forward, focusing on a major update, a minor update or something that may lead to a more modular design. It was agreed that we should research how NIAP is looking at the DSC requirements and see if that leads to a direction in terms of streamlining or editing the document. Based on this research, the direction could be chosen. Until then, the biweekly calls would continue. As a starting place, Bob found an old presentation he made (in 2020) NIAP Composition as this looked at how the DSC could pair with the MDF.
A quick review of the 19 open issues was made. This didn’t spend a lot of time on any of them, but noted they were all things that were pushed from the v2.0 project to here. These would be reviewed again once the research on the streamlining was done to see what may need to be done in support of that work.
The next 2 calls are canceled, so the next call will be on January 16, 2025.
The call ended at 12:54pm EST.
