Minutes

The call started with a review of the open Pull Requests. The two pull requests targeted to the project were merged (approved before the call). Brian noted that Issue #179 about SDE/SDOs will likely need a lot more work than is available for timing now and should be considered for moving to v3. It will be left for now with the idea that it is likely to be removed based on available time.

The FCS_CKM 6.2 pull request was briefly reviewed, but since there had not been much review yet, Brian requested that everyone review this before the next call for discussion. He also stated that as there will still be an update to the requirement coming from the crypto wg that this may be paused until then so the changes can be more readily incorporated at that time instead of doing it twice.

The next topic was to review recently commented issues. These were reviewed and some were assigned for work. It was noted that FCS requirements may not be changed until after the crypto wg update, but proposed changes would still be useful to review.

The call then moved to the v2.0 Project. Brian reviewed the different labels for the project. There are no Hardware issues at this time. The CC:2022 section had Issue #35 assigned to Jim to talk with NIAP about the approach we should take. Brian said he marked this for late since it was an "easy" change, and so didn’t want to make it now and have to undo it later which would be more work than just removing it once if needed.

Next was the cPP Issues. FPT_STM.1 was discussed. The agreement was that this should be modified to be extended and then be made into a selection-based requirement. Then FDP_MFW_EXT → FPT_MFW_EXT was discussed. It was agreed that this was appropriate and would just mostly be a search/replace and then some move of the items to the proper locations in the documents.

Under cPP Introduction, CCDB AU/003 was discussed. Brian thought this may be easier to deal with now that the roles descriptions had been updated and would take a look.

Under the SD, ALC_FLR addition was discussed. This was assigned to Jim and Bob to see when we would be able to get the requirements draft so they could be added.

Lastly was the crypto label. Here changes for next version was closed. It was determined that most of these had either already been corrected or that they would be covered as part of the crypto updates. The FCS_CKM.4 description change was discussed. It was agreed that this would be useful to add. Yi was assigned to create a pull request for this issue so everyone could see the proposed changes.

The call ended at 1:03pm EST.
