Minutes

The call started with a look at the cPP issues in the project.

Issue #124 was discussed. Brian proposed using the throttling SFR from the PP_MDF as a basis for resolving the question about how to prevent hammering. Brian will propose a pull request with this change.

As many of the cPP issues are waiting on other updates, Brian thought that maybe it would be good to start looking at the CC:2022 documents to see how the cPP should be updated. Yi said she would look at that and provide an update as to what changes may be needed. She didn’t think any of the new SFRs would likely be needed, but that many SFRs may need updates (especially EXT ones). Brian will create a new label for any issues that seem to be directly linked to CC:2022 changes so they can be dealt with together.

Brian then proposed to start reviewing the SD requirements and see if there are any specific issues that need to be tied to cPP changes (i.e. that the SD change is specifically tied to an open issue in the cPP). He will update those issues to make sure they are linked. After that he will start looking at "easy" issues and work on resolving them.

Brian stated that basically there are 4.5 months to complete the update content in time for the ICCC. He felt that the cPP introduction could be left out by that time, as could some of the work on getting all the right references to external standards, but otherwise the doc should be ready.

Given the CC:2022 change, Brian also suggested this new version should actually be 2.0, not 1.1 so there wouldn’t be confusion about the CC reference versions.

The next call is scheduled for June 8.

The call ended at 12:46pm EDT.
