Overview
Our Translation Portal can be found here: https://translate.dcc.ac.uk
The portal is based on the well-known Pootle open-source platform.
Getting started

Anyone can create an account by clicking on the "Sign up as a new user" link.

Request to be added to the DMPRoadmap translation project via the contact us form or by emailing the DMPRoadmap team on [email protected].

Navigate to DMPRoadmap in the Projects list or practise translating on the Tutorial project if you wish.

Choose your favourite language, then switch from Browse to Translate mode and translate away!

Template (English) text is above, and the input box for its translation is below:

Context may appear to the left of the string being translated to help you understand what it refers to:
Tips
- You can scroll through all the translations using
CTRL+down
(orCTRL+up
) - You can increase the number of translation lines on screen by going to Settings -> Translation -> Number of Rows

After you have finished translating:
- Contact the DMPRoadmap project team to let them know that the new translations are available.
- The DMPRoadmap team will then extract the updated translations from Pootle and commit the changes to the codebase
