File upload

To upload a file, use the "Files" button in the top menu bar and select "Upload a file"...

...and you will get to the file upload. You can select a local file to upload here.

In the example here, we select an XML file from "Grimm Meistergesang".

Specify the file type of your upload...

...and give it a label. This function is optional but very practical in cases of long or not easy to understand file names.

File manager

To access your files, use the "Files" button in the top menu bar and select "File manager"...

...and you will get to the file manager. Here, you can edit, delete or download files. You have access to the files of all OmNom users and everyone who uses the same OmNom instance as you do has also access to everything that you are uploading.

File editing allows you to choose another file type or to change the label of the file.
