The GTL Library app contains ebooks and audio books. GTL claims that the app contains more than 2,000,000 audio and ebooks. However, CDCR's version of the app has always had access to just under 10,000 books. More recently, CDCR's version of the app contains only 5,133 books.

Of the remaining books, only 780 are in English. Of those, 300 are episodes of the podcast Professional Book Nerds. Of the 480 English language ebooks available on the app, none are available for immediate checkout. Incarcerated Individuals must place a hold and wait weeks or months to gain access to a single English language ebook.
