What is an Administering Agency? As used in the Digital Equity Act, an “Administering Agency " is the state agency chosen to: - Serve as the recipient of, and administering agent for, any grant awarded to the State under the Digital Equity Act - Develop, implement, and oversee the State Digital Equity Plan for the State - Make subgrants to stakeholders in support of: * The State Digital Equity Plan for the State * Digital inclusion activities in the State generally - Serve as an advocate for digital equity policy and digital inclusion activities - Serve as a repository of best practice materials regarding digital equity policies and activities
