The downloads provided are DCS-BIOS and/or dcs-bios (DCSFP). Look at the image above to find the usage you are looking for.

DCS-BIOS

DCS-BIOS has two different releases, Stable and Prerelease. It is recommended most users use the Stable release. The Prerelease release may have more recent bugfixes and new modules, however addresses and control identifiers are subject to change without warning.

Stable Release (recommended)

Download latest official DCS-BIOS release. This is compatible with your DCS Official installation.

• Go to the latest stable release.
• Download the zip file containing all the necessary files (DCS-BIOS_x.y.z.zip).
• Follow the installation instructions.

Prerelease

Download master branch source code or the nightly release build. This version may see breaking changes as controls are added or modified, especially in new aircraft.

• Go to the nightly release.
• Download the zip file containing all the necessary files (DCS-BIOS_nightly_yyyy-mm-dd.zip).
• Follow the installation instructions.

DCS Script Folder

C:\Users\<your username>\Saved Games\DCS\Scripts

C:\Users\<your username>\Saved Games\DCS.openbeta\Scripts

If the scripts folder does not exist then create it. The folder should look like this after you have copied DCS-BIOS there.
