Caches-and-Mirrors — the box caches and its local APT repository 🔵
EN | FR | 🔵 MESH | package secubox-cdn (former secubox-mirror merged)
What it is for
This page answers two questions: what do the caches of the box really hold, and what does the APT repository hosted by the box contain. It shows measurements only: a folder the service cannot read gives "—", never a zero. Since secubox-cdn 1.4.0 the module no longer pretends to manage a CDN: it reads the real caches. Since 1.5.0 the former Mirror module is merged into it.

Demonstration capture (fictitious data). Panel: /cdn/ ("Caches and mirrors") · API: /api/v1/cdn/ · config: /etc/secubox/cdn.toml. It ships in the secubox-isp profile (see Modules-by-Profile).
Box caches (1.4.0)
GET /api/v1/cdn/caches (read-only, administrator token) gives, for each real cache under /var/cache/secubox: its size, its number of files and its last activity.
- Walk is bounded, symbolic links are not followed, and reading is done off the event loop with a 30-second cache.
- A folder closed to the service answers
lisible: falsewithnullmeasures, shown as "—". - The page is rebuilt in the Aurora style on these data only. Before 1.4.0 the module managed
/var/cache/secubox-cdn, which does not exist, and policies that no engine read: the page only showed emptiness. - The CDN policies saved in
/etc/secubox/cdn.jsonare flagged "not applied": nothing reads them, they change no traffic. The old write routes (policies, rules) are kept but the page no longer exposes them.
Mirror merged (1.5.0)
The old Mirror module managed remote mirrors that nothing synchronised (no mirror, empty cache on the reference box). The real mirror is the APT repository hosted by the box, so the module was merged into secubox-cdn:
- New route
GET /api/v1/cdn/miroirs(read-only, administrator token): suites, architectures, components, package count (from thePackagesfiles) and pool size. Only theReleaseheader and the package count are read, off the event loop, with a 30-second cache. - The page
/cdn/becomes "Caches and mirrors" and gains a local APT mirror panel./mirror/redirects to/cdn/, and there is a single menu entry. - Remote mirrors are not synchronised by any engine: the route only returns what
/etc/secubox/mirror.jsonsays about them, ornull. - Missing source:
null, never an invented zero. - Since 1.5.1 the repository total is described for what it is: package entries across all suites and architectures (one package counts once per suite and architecture), not a number of distinct packages.
The package replaces and breaks secubox-mirror (older than 1.2.2), which is now transitional.
