The OverToneSelectOrgel - CreCoProject/IntervallOrgels GitHub Wiki
This was the OverTone Select Orgel a Experiment with SuperCollider to explain the Theory of Over Tones as a Criteria for Consonance. The Idea behind this Theory of Consonance is that there are more Consonance between two Tones when they share much more Over Tones. Over Tones are the partial Sinusoidal Waves in which a Tone can been transformed with the Fourier Transform. This Translation are different between varied Tone Colors. In this Experiment I use Triangular and Square Waves. So this use should affect the Possible Consonances in Music with this Tones. I hope anybody will listen to the Results of this Script and become inspired to try his own Experiments to test the different Possibilities of Consonance Theory
