The TerrainNetwork Node is the central workspace for building and editing terrain geometry in GroundGen. Nodes within this network control the landscape's shape, elevation, and features. You can use operators such as Noise, Shape, Terrace, and Erosion to procedurally generate terrain, chaining or blending them for unique results. This enables the creation of mountains, valleys, plateaus, and other geological forms.

TerrainNetwork supports real-time editing—changes to node parameters update instantly in the viewport. You can also integrate custom GLSL shaders to enhance the terrain's appearance and behavior, providing extensive customization for various project requirements.

The TerrainNetwork Node is the foundation for all terrain-related operations in GroundGen.
