#About
A printed circuit board, commonly known as a PCB, is a thin board in which microchips and other electronic components are placed.
PCBs have multiple layers that are laminated together using adhesives, heat and pressure.
- Core: substrate; usually fiberglass (FR4)
- Copper Layer
- Soldermask: Green layer on most PCBS
- Silkscreen: White outline, words, or symbols on soldermask
