ACCOUNT CREATION IN ORACLE

CREATING A NEW ACCOUNT IN ORACLE

Go to the link https://www.oracle.com/cloud/sign-in.html and sign up.

Fill the form , verify your mail and create account.

**Cloud Account Name: Tenancy Name(Used to login into Oracle Cloud) **– Always ask the client which account name they want(because they might use it as a tag for their billings)

Home Region : We can select any Region because the billing structure is same for all regions**[Preference – US EAST (Ashburn)]**

**Address **: Give the client’s address.

**Add Payment Verification Method **: Add client’s details.

Account created , now we have to login(Cloud Account Name – Tenancy Name).

Select the Single Sign On option(Azure Active Directory Identity Provider):

After Logging in we have to select the Identity provider in the federation option.

CREATE COMPARTMENT

Identity & Security --> Compartments --> Create Compartment

Inside this compartment, we have to create child compartments (For Compute and Instance)

CREATING A VCN

CREATE COMPUTE INSTANCE

Go to the hamburger option , select compute --> Instances --> create instance.

Click on edit and fill all the details

Generating and using SSH Keys

Click on create.
