02.08 Vehicle Configuration - CityGecko/CS-AdvancedVehicleOptions GitHub Wiki

The buttons Export and Import allow to Save (exporting into a XML file) and Restore (importing from a XML file) the configuration. The configuration file is named AdvancedVehicleOptionsUID.xml and can be found in the directory [SteamFolder]\SteamApps\common\Cities_Skylines.

The configuration can be exported / imported at any time during the game. When saving the configuration, Advanced Vehicle Options will let you know, where the configuration file was saved.

The button Reset All will reset the complete vehicle configuration to Default for all vehicles.

When starting a new game, Advanced Vehicle Options will load the settings from the configuration file. If no configuration file is available, all vehicles are activated and standard asset settings are applied.

If loading an existing game, Advanced Vehicle Options will load the settings from the savegame.

Compatibility Info: Configuration
There has been a change in the data structure from version 1.8.5 to 1.9.0. Old savegames will always take over the settings from that savegame or configuration file. Please see here for a workaround, how to recover an old configuration.
