01 Mod Panel Options - CityGecko/CS-AdvancedVehicleOptions GitHub Wiki
This is the Mod Option Panel. It can be accessed from the Game main menu, click to Content Manager and then choosing "Mods" in the left section. Pick Advanced Vehicle Options to display the options.
This sections controls settings, which do not have an impact to the gameplay. The section also shows the current release number of Advanced Vehicle Options.

Enable Autosaving for Vehicle Configuration Data
If selected, the mod will immediately save changes into the configuration file. The savegame will carry the latest changes anytime, this function updates the configuration file. Users will not be required to use the "Export" button to create a configuration file. -
Enable warning for no available services at map loading
If selected, the mod will no longer raise a warning, if the user have a category, where no vehicle is active. For example, if you deactive vehicle spawning for all police cars, the game will no longer spawn any police car. This will have a heavy impact on your city, therefore the game will warn the user, that no service vehicle will be active for this category. Default setting is "deactivated". -
Remember Engine/Trailer Synchronization setting
If selected, the mod will remember, if the synchronization for train engine to train trailers should be remembered. -
Disable debug messages logging
If selected, the mod mill not log any of its activity to the output_log.txt. This file is the Cities Skylines game log located under \steamapps\common\Cities_Skylines\Cities_Data and can help to detect potential conflicts / problems. If everything is working fine, activate this setting. Default setting is "activated (do not log)". -
Hide the In-Game toolbar button
If selected, the mod will hide the toolbar menu button and release space to other mods, which may need the space in the toolbar. If you do not want to change any vehicle properties anymore, active this setting. Default setting is "deactivated". -
In-Game Hotkey
Define the hotkey, which will activate the user interface. Be sure, that the hotkey is not used by any ingame function or any mod. -
Set Language
Defines the language the mod will use. It is recommended to keep the setting "Use Game language".

Display Miles per Hour (mph) instead of Kilometer per Hour (km/h)
Changes the displayed unit of speed used in Advanced Vehicle Options. Speed units will also be converted from km/h to mph by using a conversion rate of 1,609344.This setting is purely cosmetic and will not have an impact on the gameplay balance.

Enable capacity values for non-cargo and non-passenger vehicles
Certain vehicles have instead a cargo load or passenger capacity value a specific value for the intended task:- Fire Engines have a Firefighting Rate capacity; with a higher rate, fires will be extinguished faster (and vice versa)
- Police Cars have a Crime Rate capacity; with a higher rate, the crime in the neighborhood will be decreased (and vice versa)
- Maintenance Vehicles have a Maintainence Rate capacity; with a higher rate, the maintainence is more efficent (and vice versa)
All changes in the vehicle settings have an impact on the game balance, thus it is not recommended to change these values. Default setting is "deactivated".
This sections controls the behaviour of Advanced Vehicle Options, when it detects, that there are other mods installed, which interfere with the vehicle settings. In this case, user will be warned with colors or the priority for changing settings will be given to the additional mod and the internal capability is disabled.
Each setting will inform you, if a certain mod is installed and activated in the Content Manager.
Display Compatibility Warnings for Mods
If this option is active, Advanced Vehicle Option will display warnings when it detects the mods Improved Public Transport and Transport Lines Manager. Values, which are shared between these modifications, will be displayed in red color. The user should decide in which mod the changes should be made. Be aware of potential compatibility issues. If disabled, no warning color will be displayed.
Vehicle Color Expander: Priority over AVO vehicle coloring
If the mod Vehicle Color Expander is active, it will take over the vehicle color settings from Advanced Vehicle Options. Colors for vehicles can not longer be defined by AVO.
Setting is permanent and cannot be disabled by the user. Deactivate or uninstall Vehicle Color Expander in the Content Manager to regain control.
No Big Trucks: Classify Generic Industry vehicles as Large Vehicle
If the mod No Big Truck is active, Advanced Vehicle Options will allow to set the Large Vehicle flag to Industry Delivery vehicles. For more usage on this flag, please follow the link to No Big Trucks.
This sections helps the user to understand the mod functionality and helps to find the log directory.

Open the Advanced Vehicle Options Wiki
A click to this button will open the web browser and directs the user to the Wiki documentation covering the Advanced Vehicle Options mod functionality. -
Open Cities:Skylines log folder (output_log.txt)
A click to this button will open the Windows Explorer and opens the directory, where the "output_log.txt". is located. Open the "output_log.txt" to review log messages, which could include error messages from the game and every installed asset. -
Open Folder with Mod Configuration Files
A click to this button will open the Windows Explorer and opens the directory, where the mod configuration and the vehicle data file is stored.
