Nether Wart generates near lava lakes on all nether biomes except soul sand valleys.

Withering Grounds

The withered grounds is a biome only present on the nether. Its surface is based on Blackstone caves with streams of basalt covering the floor. Basalt trees with blackstone leaves and fruits of crying obsidian grow on the basalt streams. Gilded Blackstone is the main ore that can be found in this biome.

Only Wither Skeletons and Skeletons can spawn on this biome.

Withering affects twice as fast in this biome.

Metamorphic Caves

Metamorphic Caves is a biome only present on the nether. Its surface is based on rivers of lava surrounded by magma that cover roughly 50% of the biome. The rest of the surface is netherrack.

Only Blazes can spawn in this biome, some of them which might turn into fire springs on generation.

Metamorphic Edges

This sub biome will always generate between the main biome and basalt deltas. All characteristics of the Metamorphic Caves apply here, except the terrain is filled with basalt piles and the netherrack of the roof is replaced for basalt.
