Item used to obtain enchantments in exchange for a few materials.

Obtaining

Trading

Wandering traders will always sell 1 Guide for 2 Emeralds. Every time a guide is bought it will increase 2 Emeralds for the next Wandering Trader's Enchanter Guide trade. The max price for a guide is 64 Emeralds.

Chest Loot

Chests on Pillager Outposts will always contain 1 Guide.

Chests on Stronghold Libraries have a 30% chance of containing 1 Guide.

Chests on Mansions have a small chance of containing Guides.

Use

Crafting

It can be used as the book of an Enchanting Table recipe.

Enchanting

Encahnter Guides are enchanted books at its core. They can be used in an anvil to apply the held enchantment to an item. A guide will always spawn with the Mount Catalyst enchantment applied.

Rerolling Enchantments

The enchantment contained on the guide can be changed in exchange of a single xp level and a piece of lapislazuli. Using the item (Rclick) for a few seconds will perform a reroll, consuming both resources and changing the enchantment on the guide for another one.

Treasure enchantments can be obtained from rerolling.

Chiseled Bookshelf

Enchanter guides can be stored on Chiseled Bookshelves.
