Recap of Playtest Feedback

Based on the key take aways from Playtest 1, the main things that were iterated on was the geometry of the level. Some minor elements were iterated on as well.

Main Changes

  • Props and finer details were added to the Atrium/Entance to help establish a sense of place at the beginning of the map, mainly on the tops of the walls.
  • A bench was added (shown in the smaller picture) and it serves as the spot the player spawns on. It gives some narrative as to what the player was doing before getting up to fight.

  • The stairs in The Rest Area were remodeled to look more inviting.

Minor Changes

  • Spaced out the enemies placed in The Labyrinth some more to make those encounters easier.
  • Replaced the rocket launcher with the grenade launcher. Makes it easier for players to not kill themselves in the Labyrinth encounters.
