Throne Room
Immersion and Theme
Goal
The Goal with the texturing of this map was to make this castle feel like a chateau: grand and old. To achieve this, I used a lot of stone wall textures for the walls and floors. More ornate metallic textures are used to add detailing to the throne and the pillars.

Guidance and Orientation
The main goal was to make decisions in the texturing that would help guide and orient players.
Design Choices
- There are borders wherever there are texture changes. Specific border texture is used throughout the map.
- The texture of the floors, walls, and ceilings change when the height or elevation changes on the lower level, providing contrast between the large open space of the throne room and the more confines spaces of the rooms around it.
