Playtest 1
Moving Forward fromThere are some obvious changes that I made based on this feedback: more spawn points, more varied pickups and more pickups throughout the map, more cover in the throne room, etc. To fix the issues with the map being too big but congested in some spots, I made the map smaller. I cut the rooms on the right half of the map in half and I opened up the room behind the throne room. I moved props that were larger into larger rooms so that they won't make the space feel congested.
Iteration
New Additions
The things I added in this iteration of the Chateau are:
- Light fixtures
- The chapel is now on the second floor and the gallery is in the space behind the throne
- Columns and arches around the throne room
- Refined the designs of already existing props
- Box props in the storage room
- Moved the gallery to the space behind the throne room
- Banisters/Dividers in the throne room that provide some cover from the upper level of the map
- More pickups around the map and more varied pick-ups
- More spawn points
