Warped Containment is an uncommon codex entry.

This datamass contains information and instructions on how to (somewhat) contain or limit warped growth. Judging by the look of the datamass, doesn't seem like it worked really well.
The datamass is partially covered in warped growth. This indicates that it was left out near such for a bit too long. Thankfully, the data inside seems to be intact.

Alta: The spread of warped growth is a prominent topic, especially since it tends to contaminate yaara groves and many underground facilities.

Radiomessages on pickup:

You've found an alta datamass. These tiny portable databases tend to contain important encrypted info used by alta crafting stations to unlock various blueprints.
These can either be crafted or found in random alta pods on alterash planets.
Beware of the warped items you just acquired. Warped is a form of wild growth found mainly on alterash planets, that tends to spread uncontrollably and contaminate everything in its path.
Warped things can be bioluminescent, but they also tend to be quite venomous too. I wouldn't recommend testing your luck.

warped growth is an uncontrollable, constantly mutating and slowly expanding plant matter.

While mostly harmless by itself, the dangers of warped climate comes from both expansion and other warped-compatible life that appears in it.

It's very hard to control the warped expansion, but it can be contained with certain precautions.

Still, its containment is one of primary goals as of right now, since it endangers yaara groves it expands on.

The warped growth itself consists of glow fibres and yonnur.

yonnur is a bioluminescent liquid that is often used by altas for illumination, in things like an Alta Lab Capsule With Yonnur.

In order to properly contain the growth, all glow fibre veins and bulbs containing yonnur need to be properly frozen or curdled.

This can be done via specialized alta devices, or with cryogenic materials like cryonic extracts and isoslime.

As for the warped-compatible life, it includes venomous plants like nivera, warped hives, warped hive trees and monsters like warped flies, bruteflies, warped sporgus, warped anglures, but it can also contain mostly harmless plants, like archulins.

Archulins are bitter berries that can be used as cooking ingredients for simple alta dishes like archilibites.
