Altas & Crystals
Calin are general crystallic caves and crystals found on alterash prime planets. These are generic types of crystals that can also be found in crystalline areas.
Crystals
Calin crystals (or cals for short) have a wast variety of uses among altas, from being energy accumulators to basic decorations, as well as a whole alta cuisine dedicated to calin-based food.
This is one of the most common and abundant resources on alterash planets - it can be found in caves, asteroids, in form of deposits and even growing on ayaka trees and yaara plants.

Visual Style
Calin decor is often made from dark metals, incrusted with cals that often act as baterries for the object, or even lightsources. This style is often used in alta clubs, gaming centers and other entertainment-related facilities found in alta cities.

Glass
Since alterash planets don't usually have sand (aside from moondust), altas use crystal glass instead, made from refined re-crystallized cals.

Altas use crystals as energy containers in production of different technology, most commonly energy cells:
