Alter-Sphere icon Alter-Sphere is a legendary crafting material.

Source of natural energy, safe to use for generating pure electricity.
Spheres like this one often have uses other then an energy source. Altas use them as keys in energy locks, as energy concentrators and catalysts.

Energy Locks are special security contraptions that can be unlocked by certain energy sources with specific energy types.

Species descriptions:

  • Alta: A pretty alterfaa, surprizingly heavy for its size. I wish I could use it as a night light, but no - it's classified as "dangerous technology". Oh well.

Radiomessages on pickup:

  • What you just acquired is an alta energy sphere, a powerful energy generator that produces energy of one of three types - ceternia, alternia and enternia. These spheres are powered by crystals and pure energy essence that you can find scattered across stardust-type planets like alterash.
    Use them sparingly as they're generally hard to come by.
