Daily Quest System - CatsAndBoats/catseyexi GitHub Wiki
Introducing the new custom daily quest system! Players can complete up to five quests every real life day and earn Obsidian Fragments, a unique currency that can be exchanged for rewards. Quests will reset every day at jp midnight (10 am eastern time)
Speak with one of the five goblin npcs in Lower Jeuno (H-8) to take on the daily quests.

| Saltlik | 400 Obsidian Fragments | Kill a random NM from a random zone |
| Beetrix | 500 Obsidian Fragments | Trade a certain R/Ex item obtained from a random zone |
The objectives assigned by the goblins vary in difficulty from very easy to incredible tough. It's not a guarantee you will complete all five quests everyday.
- Fishstix may send you to dungeons filled with dangerous enemies.
- Murdoc can ask for monster kills that have few spawns or long repops.
- Mistrix can assign you objectives that require guild key items.
- Saltlik can assign you powerful and rare notorious monsters to hunt.
- Beetrix can ask for very rare items.
If you find the objective assigned to you too difficult you now have the option to reset the requested objective. Trade the goblin exactly 50,000 gil and the objective will change. You can only use the reset three times per vana day. Your three resets apply to all five goblins together. Once you complete the quest it can not be reset further. After three resets it can not be reset further.
You can view your daily quest progress for Murdoc with the custom player command:

Obsidian Fragments are awarded to the player upon completion of a daily quest. These can be exchanged with Gronk in Lower Jeuno (H-8). To obtain endgame reward items you must have cleared that content before and obtained the title granted.
