FireDrill - Capi-Metaverse/Template GitHub Wiki
The Fire-Drill simulation is an interactive program designed to teach users how to respond in case of a fire. Users can access this simulation from the third floor via the elevator.
The simulation is divided into two main scenes: the Fire-Drill HUB and the Fire-Drill Desktop/VR.
The Fire-Drill HUB is the initial scene users encounter. It is a small recreation of the elevator area in the Valencia Office, with closed doors. Here, users can interact with a menu to select their desired mode of play.

-
Allows users to freely explore the office.
-
The goal is to familiarize users with the office layout, locations of fire extinguishers, and exits.
-
Once objectives are completed, users are returned to the HUB.

-
Presents users with various fire scenarios.
-
The objective is to reach a fire-free exit by following a guided path marked beneath the user’s feet.
-
Help messages throughout the office provide additional guidance.

-
Users can return to the HUB at any time by pressing the ESC key and confirming their choice.
-
In both Tutorial and Fire-Drill modes, users can interact with fire extinguishers to put out small fires.
-
There are three different scenarios illustrating the proper response based on the user’s location in the office: left, center, or right.
