Sapphire Ore is a rare ore found in The Overworld on layers 0-32. Sapphire Ore is significantly more common in Icy biomes. Tools made with this material have a faster mining speed, while armor provides more protection.

As of 1.20, Sapphire Ore is now more common in Frozen/Icy Biomes and can be found between layers -64-38.
