Lab #5 In this ab I was tasked with building a PC that fits the needs of my everyday use with a budget of $1000. I went online to pick out parts that would work together to fit my needs.

Lab #6 In this lab I used a windows 10 virtual machine to complete different administrative tasks.I used the chkdsk common to examine the contents of the c: drive.

Lab #7a In this lab I explored the different accessibility option available in windows 10 using a virtual machine. These options included Icon and text size, color blindness options, and keyboard options.

Lab #7b In this lab I created a virtual machine. I used VirtualBox as my program to run the machine. I then downloaded isos for both windows 10 and Xubuntu to run on my computer.

Lab #8a In this lab I used my virtual machine and used different networking commands in the command line. I used the ping command followed by the Champlain.edu web server's ip address to ping the server and check connectivity. The nslookup command was used to find the ip dress of Champlain.edu by entering "nslookup Champlain.edu" in the command line. I then entered tracert followed by the same IP address to find the path my data takes to get to the Champlain.edu server and find out where that server is located.

Lab #8b In this lab I downloaded TCP view and Whois programs to run on the command line of my virtual machine. I ran the TCP view application as an administrator to find out specific information about my system. I found the connection that is sending the most bytes of data and identified specific information about that connection such as its protocol, process id, and remote address. Whois is a command line utility that I used to find information about Champlain. I ran the program through the command line using administrative rights to find information about the domain Champlain.edu such as the administrative contact and when the domain expires.
