Summary

The 'hard skills' are the technical side of the coin. This is the knowledge that is necessary to carry out the job. 'Soft skills' are the life skills that will get and keep you that job. These are the skills that employers across all fields look for. Interpersonal, critical thinking, and communication skills, for example, are the foundation for a successful career in whatever industry you choose.
