In general, don't buy from ISISpace. In our case, we selected their EPS. Its pitfalls: $10K, datasheets are unclear & contain errors, require NDAs.

Budgetary Handling

It'd be very nice had we started off with a clear budget document with links to the various receipts, whether uploaded or physically stored.

It follows that every receipt should be uploaded into the Finance folder, & then added onto said budget document. We could also have an estimated category for projecting costs, & then comparing them. This estimated vs real distinction is really important & has tripped us up before, along with the need to find receipts that haven't been digitized. Also follows that we should keep good track of the physical receipts.

Budgetary documents used for this sort of tracking should be year-agnostic, with expansion of individual spending categories as opposed to retooling the reimbursement form or other such actions.

Workspace Considerations

Our laminar flow table (LFT) is where we do large amounts of our most important work. It has an ESD strap setup w/ capacity for 3 but the LFT has space for 2 people. These ESD straps need to be reached as their natural state is coiled within the LFT's work area, which puts our components at risk of being harmed by ESD in the case of someone bumping into a component accidentally. To remedy this, a piece has been designed to keep the wire for the strap above the components throughout the workday.
