How To Flash the Stock Firmware Back to the CR6 printer - CR6Community/Marlin GitHub Wiki

The Creality CR6-SE Downloads page is on Creality Cloud

Creality used to maintain the firmware on their after-sale support site, but has since removed those files. :(
They still offer one poorly documented CR6 firmware download for each of the CR6-SE and CR6-MAX on the Creality Cloud.

If you have a CR6-SE:

The firmware download page is here: https://www.crealitycloud.com/downloads/firmware/cr-series/cr-6-se

Click to Download the file labelled CR-6SE_HW-4.5.3_SW-V1.0.2:

Unpack and browse the folders structure. You will find multiple versions of the firmware - it looks as though they have bundled all variations together - including versions for the 4.5.2 motherboard, and including older versions + their last version (2.0.3.1) - into the one misleadingly named file.

CAUTION: If any of the files in the DWIN_SET folders in that download contain chinese characters in their filenames, the display will not flash filenames with chinese characters. [The touchscreen may not operate, for instance.]

You should, however, be able to flash DWIN+SET to your display, if you instead:

  1. Delete the chinese characters from these three (3) filenames in the DWIN_SET folder (and any others that you find):

T5LCFG272480硬件配置文件.CFG 13触控配置文件.bin 14变量配置文件.bin

  1. Flash the display with the modified (only english character filenames) DWIN_SET folder

The Creality CR6-MAX Downloads page is on its own tab at that site, here:

https://www.crealitycloud.com/downloads/firmware/cr-series/cr-6-max

Again, there is only one file to download, with your one option bundled into that file.

It looks as though only the Nine Languages branch of that file contains both DWIN_SET and the bin file.
