About

This document acts as a recording of how the team, the Dylpickles, wrote out and carried out tests for mapping out game reserves using aerial photographs application (referred to as the Aerial Mapper onwards). It begins with the reason why our team did testing in the Aerial Mapper application, followed by the objectives that we would like to achieve through testing, the testing process that was followed, including the technologies that were used, how we measured the overall test coverage of our project and finally how we will be able to improve our testing.

The main purpose of the testing of our application is to ensure that a user does not run into any critical errors while interacting with the Aerial Mapper. Testing done throughout our files will prevent any bugs or the application from running into a serious issue while running. In turn, this will reduce the development costs overall while improving the performance of the application. Testing for the application made use of technologies such as Jasmine, Karma, and Cypress.
