Members attending: Daniel, Jordan, Simon, Aaliyah, Jade, Moyo.
Members Absent: None.
To-do this meeting:
- Discuss UI mockups and come up with a less abstract design.
- Decide on classes for the CRC classes.
- Delegate tasks.
Accomplished this meeting:
- Went through and finalized portions of our Figma User Interface mockups as a team.
- Decided to have users that could log in (organizers) and users that couldn't login (attendees) until further notice/confirmation from Raquib.
- Decided which parts of the mockups would make an activity in our CRC Cards.
- Finalized classes for CRC cards.
- Decided on how to show the organizer how to reuse their old QR Codes (this functionality exists within the past events tab we will create in the mockup.)
- Discussed geolocation implementation design-wise in our mockups.
- Decided to change a previous design to allow for organizers to only see names, and not profiles (in the attendee list) and allow admins to see and delete profiles.
- Discussed option for enabling/disabling geolocation tracking (perhaps as a pop-up when the geolocation tab is clicked, or as a checkbox when a user creates an event or scans a QR code).
Task Assignment:
CRC Cards and Backlog: Moyo, Jordan, Daniel
Tasks under this section (not exhaustive):
- Finalize the roles and responsibilities for all classes we decided on
- Start deciding on risk level for the backlog and size in story points. Start thinking about those that we could ideally have ready for the halfway checkpoint.
UI and Storyboarding: Aaliyah, Simon, Jade
Tasks under this section (not exhaustive):
- Create a new page for those screens we decided would be activities (list of attendees dropdown, etc.)
- Create different tab views for events attending, events created, and past events.
- Minor UI Cleanup
Action items for next meeting:
- Complete parts of the assignment that are not up in the air. This includes CRC cards and UI portions that we are sure of.
- Confirm with Raquib if we need more User stories for our Project Pt. 2 Submission.
- Discuss backlog items that can be completed for the halfway checkpoint.
- Confirm if we would ever have to account for an attendee attending more than one event (with TA).
- Confirm if our CRC cards will need more detail or information at this stage of development (with TA).
