US 01.02.01 - Join Campsite Lottery Waiting List
User Story:
- As an entrant, I want to join the waiting list for a campsite lottery.
Description:
- Allow entrants to join the waiting list for an active campsite lottery. The application prevents duplicate entries and confirms when an entrant successfully joins the waiting list.
UI Screens: Screen 1: Active Lottery
- Displays the selected campsite's information.
- Shows "Lottery Status: Active".
- Provides a "Join Lottery" button.
Screen 2: Successfully Joined Waiting List
- Confirms that the entrant has successfully joined the waiting list.
- Informs the entrant that they must wait for the lottery results.
Screen 3: Already Joined
- Displays "Already Joined" if the entrant is already on the waiting list.
- Prevents the entrant from joining the same waiting list more than once.
Storyboard:
- The storyboard illustrates two possible outcomes when an entrant attempts to join a campsite lottery waiting list:
- Active Lottery → Successfully Joined: The entrant clicks "Join Lottery", and the application adds them to the waiting list.
- Active Lottery → Already Joined: If the entrant is already on the waiting list, the application displays "Already Joined" without adding another entry.
The Filtered Campsites and Campsite Details screens from previous stories are included to show how the entrant reaches the waiting list.
UI Comments:
- Join Lottery Button: Allows an eligible entrant to join the waiting list.
- Success Message: Confirms that the entrant has been added to the waiting list.
- Already Joined Message: Informs the entrant that they cannot join the same waiting list twice.
- Lottery Status: Indicates whether joining is currently available.
