US 01.02.01 - CRC Cards

User Story:

• As an entrant, I want to join the waiting list for a campsite lottery.

Description:

• Allow entrants to join the waiting list for an active campsite lottery. The application prevents duplicate entries and confirms successful registration.

CRC Card 1: Lottery

Responsibilities:

• Store the lottery's status (active or inactive).
• Maintain the list of entrants waiting for the lottery.
• Check whether an entrant is already on the waiting list.

Collaborators:

• Entrant

CRC Card 2: WaitingListController

Responsibilities:

• Receive requests to join the waiting list.
• Check whether the lottery is active.
• Check whether the entrant is already on the waiting list.
• Add eligible entrants to the waiting list.
• Provide a success or failure message to the UI.

Collaborators:

• Lottery
• Entrant

CRC Card 3: Entrant

Responsibilities:

• Store the entrant's information.
• Provide the entrant's identity for waiting list registration.
