US 01.01.06 - Join an Active Campsite Lottery

User Story:

• As an entrant, I want to join an active lottery from the campsite details screen.

Description

• Allow entrants to join an active campsite lottery directly from the campsite details screen. The application prevents duplicate entries and does not allow entrants to join inactive lotteries.

UI Screens Screen 1: Active Lottery

• Displays the selected campsite's details.
• Shows "Lottery Status: Active".
• Provides a "Join Lottery" button.

Screen 2: Successfully Joined

• Confirms that the entrant successfully joined the campsite lottery.
• Prevents the entrant from joining the same lottery again.

Screen 3: Already Joined

• Displays "Already Joined" if the entrant has previously joined the lottery.
• Prevents duplicate lottery entries.

Storyboard:

The storyboard illustrates two possible outcomes when an entrant attempts to join an active campsite lottery:

• Active Lottery → Successfully Joined: The entrant clicks "Join Lottery", and the application successfully registers their entry.
• Active Lottery → Already Joined: If the entrant has already entered the lottery, the application displays "Already Joined" without creating another entry.

The Filtered Campsites and Campsite Details screens from previous user stories are included to show how the entrant reaches the lottery.

UI Comments:

• Lottery Status: Indicates whether the campsite has an active lottery.
• Join Lottery Button:Allows an eligible entrant to join an active lottery.
• Success Message:Confirms successful entry into the lottery.
• Already Joined Message: Informs the entrant that they cannot join the same lottery twice.
