Appointed Positions & Responsibilities - CIF-Rochester/wiki GitHub Wiki

This is a list of all Appointed Positions, and the duties they are expected to fulfill.

Kitchen Deity

The Kitchen Deity is in charge of keeping the kitchen clean. How this is achieved is up to the discretion of the Kitchen Deity. The most successful method of accomplishing this has been for the Kitchen Deity to check the kitchen every night, then clean and write notes on any dishes that are left out and unclean. Get into a habit, if the kitchen stays clean the first few weeks of a semester, it is much more likely to stay that way. If you know who is leaving dishes, find a way to politely get them to clean up after themselves. Also, stay on top of the refrigerator, and prevent food that has gone bad from sticking around.

Lab Lord

The Lab Lord is like the Kitchen Deity, but for the Lab. Their job is to keep the lab tidy, the printers full of paper, and prevent the trash from filling. Just as with Kitchen Deity, the Lab Lord must do this regularly if they want to stay on top of it.

Sys-Admin

The Sys-Admin works directly with the Tech Directors, and has more or less the same system permissions as them. The Sys-Admin positon is meant to help supplement the Tech Directors with common issues and tasks, such as fixing a lab access issue for a member. If both the Tech Directors and the Sys-Admin wish to, the Sys-Admin may take on larger projects with permission from the Tech Directors.

Poster Poster

The Poster Poster is in charge of getting flyers put up. Once flyers have been printed, it is their job to get people to help distribute the flyers.

Game Monarch

The Game Monarch takes all of the games that CIF has from Game Suite and moves them to the Core prior to Game Nights. Once Game Night ends, it is the responsibility of the Game Monarch to return the games to Game Suite. The Game Monarch should maintain an inventory of games, and this inventory should be checked against after each Game Night. For ease of transitions, the outgoing Game Monarch should pass on their inventory to the incoming Game Monarch.

Social Czar

The Social Czar takes photos of CIF events and sends the photos to the Executive Board. The Social Czar should be an active member and take plentiful photos. They also update our social media accounts and our website. This includes our Facebook, CCC webpage, and CIF's website. They should post recent and upcoming events, update content to stay current, and generally keep the website and Facebook looking good.
