Ore Generators - CIF-Rochester/CursedSkyblock GitHub Wiki
Not All Generators are the Same
When a flowing lava contacts water, it creates cobblestone. Not in Cursed Skyblock. Depending of the location of the formed block, a different block may form. Custom generator functionality can be disabled by placing a specific block on the formation location.
Surface Cobblestone Generators
When a cobblestone block forms above Y 0, it will produce surface blocks. These are the default weights:
- Cobblestone: 20
- Stone: 20
- Granite: 20
- Diorite: 20
- Andesite: 20
- Coal Ore: 10
- Copper Ore: 7
- Iron Ore: 5
- Gold Ore: 3
- Redstone Ore: 3
- Lapis Ore: 2
- Diamond Ore: 1
- Block of Raw Copper: 1
Disabled by Packed Ice Placed BELOW the formed block.
Deep Cobblestone Generators
When a cobblestone block forms below Y 1, it will produce deep blocks. These are the default weights:
- Tuff: 22
- Deepslate: 21
- Cobbled Deepslate: 15
- Deepslate Iron Ore: 8
- Deepslate Gold Ore: 6
- Deepslate Redstone Ore: 5

- Deepslate Coal Ore: 3
- Deepslate Diamond Ore: 3
- Raw Iron Block: 2
- Amethyst Block: 1
Disabled by Packed Ice Placed BELOW the formed block.
Mountains Generators
Both the special Cobblestone Generators will generate Emeralds in mountainous biomes. These include: Jagged Peaks, Frozen Peaks, and Stony Peaks.
Nether Basalt Generators
Basalt generators exist in vanilla! To make one, place a Soul Soil Block and then have lava flow onto the block. Above the flowing lava (above the soul soil) place a Blue Ice Block. You should now have a basalt generator! While in the Nether, this generator has special formations.
- Basalt: 20
- Netherrack: 15
- Blackstone: 10
- Nether Quartz Ore: 10
- Nether Gold Ore: 7
- Ancient Debris: 1
Disabled by Packed Ice Placed EAST of the formed block. Yes, as in the direction. Unfortunately due to the limitations of bukkit (and some considerations about server performance) I had to do it this way. Figure out which way is East.
