The Island

The island generated is oddly bare for a plugin whose intention is to reduce the grind of typical 1.20 skyblock, however things will not remain this way forever. The sapling generated is randomly chosen, the only saplings not generated are Dark Oak and Mangrove due to their strange growth patterns and requirements. Rapidly sneaking near saplings can cause them to grow faster, the speed of this effect degrades the more often you use it. Regardless, getting wood should be simple. Make sure to collect as many saplings as possible.

Initial Cobblestone generation

Typical skyblock relies on cobblestone generation to obtain stone, normally skyblock does this by providing buckets of lava and water. To make things more/less complicated the island generates with both already spawned. You will notice a packed ice block beneath the lava's formation point, don't break this until you get enough stone for basic stuff. Oh and one other thing...

Don't make obsidian

Ore Generation and your First Bucket

If you are reading this you should be ready to start mining ores. Break the packed ice and now the cobblestone will be occassionally replaced with various blocks instead, some of which can be ores. After a bit of mining you should now have the resources to make a bucket. With this you can now move and rebuild your generator however you wish.

Deep Ore Mining

Moving your cobblestone generator below Y 0 will change the blocks generated to those native to the Deep slate layer of the world. Ores are more common here so mining for ores is recommended in this area. One clever strategy you can use is placing your lava and water source blocks at surface level and dropping the streams down to the deep slate layer, this way you can have 2 generators using only 1 of each liquid. Your next goal is to obtain an Anvil, some iron bars, shears, a bucket, and a cauldron.

Getting more water

Now that you have shears, harvest some leaves. Place your cauldron down, place 1 iron bar on top of the cauldron. Place a leaf block on top of the iron bars. Now, drop your anvil on the leaf block; you need not drop the anvil from a high height, just drop it with one block of air between the leaves and the anvil.

If you did the above right, the leaves will disappear and some water might appear in the cauldron (its a 20% chance). Continue this process until you get a full bucket of water.

Getting more lava

A similar process can be used to obtain lava, though it is a little more complicated. Add a blast furnace beneath your cauldron. Get a lot of cobblestone. Put some fuel in the blast furnace and start smelting some items. Your cauldron will now be heated. Place the cobblestone on top of the iron bars and anvil it. If you do this tens of times (1/100 chance) the cauldron will fill with lava.

End of Tutorial

At this point you probably understand the basics of the game. It's just skyblock but with new mechanics designed to introduce a little challenge and make getting usually unobtainable resources possible. Your next steps should be to familiarize yourself with all the custom mechanics that have been introduced and figure out how to progress on your own. However, if you are feeling lost we have a few tutorials on how to do certain things.
