Pressing Things Down

Dropping an anvil on certain blocks and structures may have custom interactions. This is a list of all of them.

Juicer Interactions

The "Juicer" structure is a Cauldron with an Iron Bar on top of it. All juicer recipes require anvilling a block placed on top of the iron bar. All drops will land in the cauldron.

• Netherack -> (2%) Fills cauldron with lava
• Cobbled Deepslate -> (1.5%) Fills cauldron with lava
• Cobblestone -> (1%) Fills cauldron with lava
• Sand -> (5%) Drops cactus (5%) Drops sugar cane (5%) Drops Sea Grass (5%) Drops Kelp (5%) Drops Sea Pickle
• Dirt -> (3%) Drops wheat seeds (1%) Drops a fern (1%) Drops short grass (1%) Drops a dead bush (2%) drops Beetroot seeds (1%) Drops sweet berries
• Mossy Cobblestone -> (85%) Drops a moss carpet
• Leaves -> (20%) Raises cauldron water level by 1 (4%) drops respective sapling (2% Oak and Dark Oak leaves only) Apple (2% Jungle Leaves) Cocoa Beans
• Snow Block -> Fills the cauldron with powdered snow.
• Snow Layer -> Raises the cauldron powdered snow level by 1.
• Magma Block -> Fills the cauldron with lava.
• Moss Block -> (3%) Glowberries (3%) Azalea (3%) Flowering Azalea (3%) Small Dripleaf (2%) Big Dripleaf (2%) Spore Blossom

Water Bathing

The water bath is a cauldron filled with water . Placing specific blocks on top and anvilling them will use up the water and create a new item.

• Snow -> Ice

Lava Bathing

The lava bath is a cauldron filled with lava. Placing specific blocks on top and anvilling them will use up the lava and create a new item.

• Stone -> Netherrack
• Water -> Obsidian

Compressing Interactions

Some blocks have compression interactions with anvils. Compressions only occur between two or more blocks. The bottom block is the block listed last.

• Dripstone = Water + Stone
• Dirt = Gravel + Sand
• Clay = Water + Sand
• Netherrack = Lava + Stone
• Sponge = Slime Block + Yellow Wool
• Packed Ice = Ice + Ice
• Blue Ice = Packed Ice + Packed Ice
• Suspicious Sand = Terracotta + Sand (Not yet able to be brushed for items :()
• Suspicious Gravel = Terracotta + Gravel (Not yet able to be brushed for items :()
• Grass = Moss Carpet + Dirt
• Moss Block = Moss Carpet + Moss Carpet + Moss Carpet
• Reinforced Deepslate = ? + ? + ? + ? + ? + ? + ? + ? + ?
• Bedrock = 16x?

Crushing Interactions

Some blocks will change to others when crushed by an anvil. This only occurs with one block.
