One of the goals of CDS-M is to avoid creating new standards, and re-using existing standards where possible. Currently, we aim to use the following standards as a base. This list will be updated over time. In the library (main branche), you can find the 'building blocks', where the specification refers to.

GTFS | data specification that allows public transit agencies to publish their transit data |
MDS | digital tool that helps cities better manage transportation in the public right of way |
NeTEx | technical standard for exchanging Public Transport Network, schedules, and related data |
SIRI | XML protocol to allow distributed computers to exchange real-time information about public transport services and vehicles |
SPDP | standard for the Publication of Dynamic Parking |
APDS | Standard for Parking |
TOMP-API | standardized and technical interface between MaaS providers and Transport operators |
OSDM | standardized and technical interface, originated from the public transport domain |
CDS-M building blocks are set up using JSON-LD, to refer to other building blocks or concepts. The vocabulary used in CDS-M can be found here
