Follow install instructions if haven't not already installed UV-CDAT

  1. Install: https://github.com/UV-CDAT/uvcdat/wiki/Install
  2. Source: Source setup_runtime script (.sh or .csh depending on the shell you are using)

Starting the GUI from the command line

uvcdat

Plot data

  • Open file using "File" menu
  • Select a dataset of interest
  • Select a variable in the "variable" pull down
  • Hit "Load and Close" *
  • Drag and Drop that variable and a plot type to the canvas for plotting.
