  • CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy): A form of talking therapy that can help you manage your problems by changing the way you think and behave. It’s most
  • commonly used to treat anxiety and depression, but also can be useful for other mental and physical health problems.
  • Therapist: A person who is signed into the application, and uses it to help give treatment to their patients.
  • Patient: A person who is signed into the application, and uses it to receive treatment from their therapist.
  • Guest: A person who is not signed into the application, and instead uses the basic functionality of the app, since they don’t have a Therapist.
  • Report: A form consisting of event (what happened?), emotion (how did you feel?), thoughts (what did you think?), response (how do you respond?) which is the main part of the application.
  • Automatic Thought: A negative thought that happens during an event that usually disappears afterwards and cannot be addressed during the therapy session.
  • Automatic Thought Response: A negative thought that happens during an event that usually disappears afterwards, doesn’t disappear and is instead addressed during the therapy session.
  • Paper form: A form consisting of event (what happened?), emotion (how did you feel?), thoughts (what did you think?), response (how do you respond?) which is the main part of the therapy currently.
  • Module: An assignment which the Patient can do. A Therapist can unlock modules for the Patient depending on their progress.
