CADMAS‐STR - CADMAS-SURF/Multiscale-and-Multiphysics-Integrated-Simulator-for-Tsunami GitHub Wiki

CADMAS-STR is a coupled analysis model of the gas-liquid two-phase flow analysis model CADMAS-SURF/3D2F and the structural analysis model STR3D. Applications to various phenomena such as deformation and destruction of structures due to the action of fluid external forces, wave forces and overtopping waves acting on structures such as caissons, and reflection coefficients have been attempted.

  1. Analysis type: Direct transient response analysis (static analysis is used initially)
  2. Nonlinear analysis functions: Geometric nonlinear (Total Lagrange method), material nonlinear (elastoplastic), contact (static and dynamic friction)
  3. Element library: Tetrahedral, pentahedral, and hexahedral primary elements, truss elements, beam elements (rectangular cross section)
  4. Special materials: Ground (based on Biot's formula), masonry materials
  5. Matrix solver: Multifrontal method, domain-divided CG method (both can be calculated in parallel)
