1.2 Identifying Client's Objectives
Step 1: Prepare a list of design objectives
| Table 2: Objectives Identified |
|---|
| Si.No | Objectives |
|---|---|
| 1. | It should be stacked one after the another |
| 2. | Let it contain some patterns |
| 3. | it should with medium fast speed |
| 4. | the machine should not be too large |
| 5. | it should easy and simple to use |
| 6. | it should contain visible refill |
| 7. | it should be provided with extra RC |
| 8. | let the refill be manual |
Problem definition version 1.1 :-
Design a model that serves stacking one after the other also provided with some patterns, let the body of the machine be made of plastic and it should have an extra RC with manual loading of lego-domino's
1.2 Identifying Client's Constraints
Step 1: Prepare a list of design constraint's
| Table 2: Constraints Identifying |
|---|
| Si.No | Constraints |
|---|---|
| 1. | refil capacity of be 10-15 legos |
| 2. | budget for the machine be max 2500 |
| 3. | maximum speed of one lego-domino be 1-2sec |
| 4. | Max weight be 1.5 kg |
| 5. | dimension be 1.5 * 1.5 * 1.5ft |
| 6. | it should stack 15 lego-dominos in 2 mins |
Problem definition version 1.2 :-
Design a model which has a refil capacity of 10-15 legos with budget of max of 2500, maximum speed of one lego-domino be 1-2 sec and max weight is 1.5 kg
1.3 Identifying Client's functions
Step 1: Prepare a list of design functions
| Table 3: Functions Identified |
|---|
| Si.No | Functions |
|---|---|
| 1. | senses the presence of lego-domino |
| 2. | it machine shall work on batteries |
Problem definition version 1.3 :-
design a model which senses the presence of lego-domino and shall run on batteries.
PROBLEM DEFINITION VERSION [FINAL]
Design a model that serves lego domino stacking one after the other with equal distances between them, included with some patterns in stacking and which has refil capacity 0f 10-15 lego dominos, let the body of the machine be made of plastic. the budget of the machine is max 2500 rupees, speed of the machine be medium fast and stacking of one lego domino should be in 1-2 sec, it should sense the presence of lego domino in the refill. max weight be 1.5kg and size of the machine should not be too large. it should be easy and simple to use. let the machine run on the batteries, and the refil be visible and there should be an extra remote controller and loading of the domino be manual.
